James Kearns 2013 Collection

If you bring up the name James Kearns in London or anywhere in the world for that matter you are bound to turn some heads with your conversation. James Kearns has recently released a footwear collection for 2013 and a lot of hype is being put around his collection. Hit the jump for more details.

James Kearns may not be in your top five designers that you know of or hear about, but his work is definitely noteworthy and anything this guy puts out is worth the time to check out. His latest collection features handmade boots that have been constructed piece by piece from the man himself in his own private studio. The boots are made out of pig, horse, and calf leathers (weird to think about huh?) His goal for this project was to enhance a refreshing classic feel for a men’s boot. And judging from the responses he has succeeded in doing so. The marketing effort behind this collection is based not only on how articulate James Kearns work is, or how much attention his collection is receiving, it also features a fifty second video where the boots are displayed in a very unique way. The boots are portrayed as a dark and rugged look hiding in the shadows and with some creative minds behind this video it really depicts the collection in a very smooth cunning type of way. Personally I have seen many videos that try and represent what the shoe is about, but this video in particular stands out because of the dark, sly, cool type of vibe it sets off. The boots almost portray a type of feeling to them, as if they have their own type of personality; which is exactly what the creators wanted. So check out the video here and see what James Kearns has in store for his latest project.
