PF Flyers have had their mark on the shoe industry for quite some time. Going on now for seventy-five years they have been a huge part of the fashion world. What the company offers now is a new innovative way to market their company. Hit the jump and see what the PF Flyers corporation is stirring up.
Some
of the different types of shoes that they offer are sneakers, boots, and
casual. They also have men’s, women’s, and kids departments. Probably their
biggest tribute was in the infamous movie Sandlot where Benny the Jet captured our attention when trying on the
all black high top PF flyers, “guaranteed to make a kid run faster and jump
higher.” Now a days the brand is still capturing the attention of many sneaker
heads all around the world. The company takes part in the usual Twitter,
Facebook, and magazine marketing strategies but lately they offered a new
outlook. Just last month they offered an interview of one of their own
designers titled Authentic American Style presented by Tim Fite. It’s a perfect
and unique way to market their brand. I personally don’t know many brands that
take the time and effort to interview their
own designers which I believe is very underrated. It also shows how the company
treats their employees. By willing to market the “behind the scenes” designers that don’t usually receive much attention, it shows how trustworthy and
appreciate the PF Flyers corporation is to their employees. This type of
marketing I can definitely see other companies taking into consideration. So
take a look into Tim’s life and see where he gets his inspiration from by
clicking the play button below. And make sure after watching the video to check
out their site and snag a pair of sneakers here.
